TLBHD - Thinner Lighter Better

Marware C.E.O. iPad case- style and flexibility in a lightweight case

As the name suggests, the Marware C.E.O. iPad case can be used by those walking around with their iPad in companies and business meetings, not just hanging out at the cafe.

It looks pretty cool and has that certain minimalistic style for which suits are going these days. Of course, you don’t have to be a businessman to walk around with one of these, you can be just a regular Joe looking to add some style to his iPad.

The case is not made out of leather, but it sure looks good and feels very soft in your hand. It’s basically made from several segments of soft material separated by some crevasses which are useful for when you want to use the case as a stand.

The case has a very sleek design and occupies very little space– your iPad will be only a little bigger than if you would just carry it without a case.

The case function comes with multiple=

One of the exclusive features of this iPad case with stand is the hand strap. You can slide your hand in and keep the case better in your hand and diminish the risk of dropping it (or have it stolen). The elastic strap goes over your hand pretty tight, but it will still be comfortable and will not cause any pains or scratches on your skin.

The interior segments contain some kind of foam, which is very rigid and can take all the damage instead of the tablet. The outside is padded, as usual with protective cases, which makes it even tougher when catastrophe strikes. The interior has a suede like finish, which will protect the screen from scratches.

The Marware iPad case has enforced corners, which means that if the tablet falls on its edges, the shock will be absorbed there and then and will not affect the tablet. Of course, it’s all about intensity and this thin and lightweight case will not protect the iPad against incredibly violent hits, but it will deal with most common and mild falls and bumps.

The power port is accessible directly, without getting the tablet out, but all the other ports are not- for that, you’ll have to gently slide it out just enough to have access to all the ports on the bottom of the iPad.

Also, there’s no support for docking the iPad while in the case. The material used is synthetic and tends to smell when first out of the bag, but after a few days of walking with it in the sun, it should be just fine.

Another shortcoming is that there’s no cleaning cloth pocket, which would have been very useful, considering the outside padding tends to get dirty pretty fast. If needed, the case can work also as a stand. It has multiple viewing angles to choose from, depending on what you want to do with it at the time: watch videos, type or look at some pictures. The low angle, that for typing, tends to be a little too low, but that’s more a matter of taste than anything else, really.

The Marware C.E.O. iPad case is now available for $27.47, which is a decent price for a case so light and sleek. You also get the hand strap, which might be useful if you don’t have a bag with you at all times and have to keep the case in your hand- just grabbing it by the actual fabric might be a little uncomfortable.

Like all cases worth talking about, this one doubles also as a stand, so you go from watching pictures to typing in no time- just adjust the stand in one of the viewing angles and you’re good to go!
