I had a couple of reviews on ultra-portable 13.3 inch mini laptops in the last months.
Although these are not really netbooks, as they are a little bit bigger, i consider them the best choice if you want something more powerful than a standard netbook, but still compact, light and with a decent price.
So, you can consider this a netbook vs laptop shootout, showing you how am 11.6 onch netbook feels next to a 13.3 incher. Spoiler: while overall more compact and lighter, there’s no huge difference in terms of size and weight between the two.
That’s why I’ve set up a mini photo-shoot to point the size differences between the Asus UL30A 13.3″ mini laptop and the Asus 1101HA 11.6″ netbook .
Photos just below.
As you can see, the laptop is not a lot bigger and is in fact slimmer. Weight difference is around 0.5 pounds. So, if you’re worrying the 13.3 inch laptops will be less portable than a netbook, well, you shouldn’t be too concerned about that.
Also, if you want to find out more about the devices in this photos, you can find here the UL30A review and here the 1101HA one.
