Apple iPhone reached its 4th generation this month and it’s becoming more popular than ever. Despite rumors of problems with signal, millions of people already bought one and for the first time ever, I feel i could become an iPhone owner soon too.
I particularly like the form of the new iPhone; it looks more masculine, more solid. And the extra features it brings are more than welcomed too. Still, because it’s no longer rounded like before, that means cases meant for previous generations won’t probably work with this phone. And when paying hundreds of bucks for a device, it’s more than wise to get some suitable protection for it, whether a case, cover or skin. And high quality ones, that is a must.
For now, there aren’t many cool cases for the iPhone 4 available on the market, but all big producers are working on such covers. Belkin in fact announced 17 of them, including solid cases, armbands and leather sleeves, but other like iFrogz, Griffin or iLuv are not sleeping too. I would reckon there would be thousands of options by the end on the year, with prices from just a couple of bucks to hundreds of dollars.

But, if you want your iPhone to be safe from drops, dust, or scratches, the Otterbox Defender is what you should have.
It actually comes with 3 layers of protection and has a solid rubber back and a thin film protector for the screen. A belt clip is included in the package too. As for the design, you can see from the picture below that the Defender it’s definitely not a ogre

This case might not sound like much, but if definitely is a good buy, mostly because it’s very affordable. The Minisuit TPU case is made of clear plastic and offers decent protection for the body and screen. It is thinner and not as sticky as a silicone or rubber case, and being made out of TPU, can still make your iPhone survive a fall.
Overall, this is an efficient case. Not as good as other sturdier covers, but definitely sleeker. And it will only cost you around 7 bucks, with a bonus microfiber screen cleaner included.
